strip. no one was killed. >>> breaking news overnight from louisiana, where a hostage standoff inside a bank has ended in deadly gunfire. authorities say the gunman shot two hostages before he was killed by police. one of the hostages has since died. the other is in critical condition. the ordeal began around noon yesterday. and negotiations had continued through the night. but police moved in once the gunman said he was going to kill his captives. >>> nature's punishing fury is battering the country in the east and the west, unleashing dangerous flash floods and destructive fires. >> as the east coast dries out from a sopping wet storm, wildfires, blazing through nearly a dozen western states. one fire destroyed a dozen homes in utah, forced hundreds of evacuations. and now, it's creeping up on a resort area, filled with luxury homes. a lightning strike is being blamed for the destructive fire that has already scorched more than 4,000 acres. at times, moving as fast as 80 feet per minute. the flames shot up the side of the mountain in summit county, utah, creating giant funnel clouds
